English Language Development
Mission
The English Language Development department strives to assess, identify, and meet the language-learning needs of English Learner students to move them as rapidly as possible to proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and listening in English. Our goal is for our students to become bilingual and bicultural members of society who are fluent in English and equipped with twenty-first century college and career readiness skills.
