Teachers! Your best resource for help is always your teacher! Make sure you know when your teachers are available for extra help, and see them outside of class time at the first sign of trouble. They want you to succeed and will be happy to see you making the extra effort.
Intervention! The GVHS Intervention program was designed to be responsive to student needs. Approximately every five weeks we check grades and put struggling students into an Intervention placement that provides the help they need. Not in the Intervention you think you need? No problem! See your counselor to find out if an Intervention placement might be available to better meet your needs.
Assets! The after-school Assets program provides a variety of academic interventions, including homework help in Room 120.
