Welcome to Golden Valley High School. We are proud of our school, students, and staff. Cougar PRIDE (Positivity, Respect, Integrity, Determination, Excellence) is more than a slogan; it is a way of life here. I ask every student on our campus to take pride in our school, become part of the great traditions being built every day, make wise decisions about your future, and take advantage of the countless opportunities available to you at Golden Valley. Your years in high school pass quickly; make the most of them!

The academic offerings and various co-curricular activities will combine to provide our students with a rich and meaningful learning experience during their time here. We highly encourage student participation in sports, clubs, bands, drama, FFA, and other student events and activities. Make memories for yourself and with your friends as much as you can.   

Parents, please stay involved with your child’s education. I encourage you to read all the parent square messages, attend parent events, and especially reach out if you have any concerns. We are here for you!! 

Our GOALS:

1. The Learning Environment Goal is to allow students to be able to learn in a safe and clean environment.  Our staff lives by the idea that all students can be successful.
